Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Fitpose works with personal things: your photo, your clothes and how you dress. This page explains in plain English what the app collects, why, who helps us process it, and how you can take it with you or delete it.
the short version
- Your photos, closet and stylist chats are saved to your private Fitpose account, and we never publish them.
- To render looks, file your clothes and reply in your stylist chat, we send the photos and text that request needs to Google’s AI, and only after you allow it. Your name and email are not sent.
- No ads, and we don’t sell your data. Fitpose doesn’t ask for your location and doesn’t track you across other apps.
- Calendar access stays off unless you turn it on. When it’s on, events are read on your iPhone and are not saved to your account or sent to our AI providers.
- Export or delete your data any time in Settings, under Data & Privacy. A few records need an email to remove, and we list them below.
Who we are
Fitpose is an iPhone app that turns photos of your clothes into a digital closet, builds looks from it and shows them on a photo of you. In this policy, “Fitpose”, “we” and “us” mean the team behind the app, and “you” means the person using it. You can reach us at furkankar6@icloud.com.
This policy covers the Fitpose app and this website. This website doesn’t set cookies or use analytics. Like any website, our hosting provider may log basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
What we collect
Most of it is what you add to Fitpose yourself. The rest is usage data that helps us fix and improve the app.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. We receive a unique identifier for your account and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. Apple lets you hide your real email behind a private relay address. We use your name to personalize the app, for example to greet you by name.
Your profile
During setup and in Settings you can give us your gender (which also picks your edition), the styles you like, the kinds of days you dress for, and your waist line setting for try-ons. Your birthday and your city are stored only if you add them.
Your photos
- Your full-body photo, the base for every look.
- Photos of single pieces, or of you in a full outfit, that you add to your closet, and the cut-out garments made from them.
- Images you attach in a stylist chat.
- The looks Fitpose renders on your photo.
Your closet and activity
- Details about each piece, such as its category, and a price, brand and purchase date if you add them.
- Looks you save, favorite or rate, the occasion or description you asked for, the feedback you give, and the stylist’s note on why a look works.
- Outfits you log as worn or plan ahead.
- Packing trips: destination, dates, trip type, packing list, and the weather forecast when you created the trip.
- Your conversations with the stylist, including the outfits and shopping ideas it suggested.
- Records of the renders our server creates for you: each one’s status, time and result link.
Usage and device data
Through PostHog, we collect which features you use and when, when the app opens and closes, crash reports, and device details such as iPhone model, iOS version, app version and language, plus your IP address. We also record sessions of how you move through the app’s screens. See Analytics and session recordings below.
Subscriptions
If you start a trial or subscribe, Apple handles the payment and we never see your card details. RevenueCat tells the app whether your subscription is active, and our server may keep a copy of that status on your account so Pro features work.
What stays on your iPhone
- Calendar. Off by default. If you turn on “Show my calendar on the Cover” in Settings and allow access, Fitpose reads the title and start time of your next timed event today to show it on your Cover. Events are not saved to your account or sent to our servers or AI providers.
- Home Screen widget. A smaller copy of your latest rendered look is saved on your iPhone, in storage shared only by the app and its widget.
- Setup before sign-in. If you start setup before signing in, your answers and photo are kept in the app’s private storage on your iPhone, then moved to your account when you sign in.
- Trial reminder. If you start a free trial, the reminder before it ends is a notification scheduled on your iPhone. Nothing about it is sent to us.
What we don’t collect
Fitpose doesn’t ask for your location, contacts or health data, doesn’t use your iPhone’s advertising identifier, and doesn’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites. The weather on your Cover comes from the city you type, not from GPS.
How we use it
- To run your closet: store your clothes, looks and history, and keep them in sync with your account.
- To make the AI features work: cut garments out of your photos, render looks on your photo, build outfits for an occasion, and answer your stylist chats.
- To add context to your Cover and your trips: the weather for your city or destination, and your next event if you turned the calendar on.
- To manage your trial and subscription and unlock Pro features.
- To find bugs, understand which features help, and improve the app.
- To keep Fitpose secure and prevent abuse, for example by checking your subscription on our server before running paid AI work.
We don’t sell your personal data, we don’t share it for advertising, and Fitpose has no ads. Fitpose doesn’t train AI models on your photos or conversations.
Analytics and session recordings
PostHog links analytics to your account’s random ID, not to your name or email, and that link is reset when you sign out. Events carry counts, settings and technical error details, such as how many pieces you added or which occasion you picked. They don’t include your photos, your chat messages or the descriptions you type.
Session recordings show how you move through the app’s screens, so we can see where people get stuck. They are set to mask text fields and images, including your photos. Other text on screen, such as a stylist reply or an event title on your Cover, can appear in a recording.
Legal bases in the EU and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we rely on our contract with you to provide the app and the features you use; on your consent for camera, photo, calendar and notification access, which you give and can withdraw in iOS; and on our legitimate interests for analytics, crash reports and security, which we balance against your rights. Sending your photos and messages to our AI provider rests on your consent, which the app asks for before your first AI request and you can withdraw in Settings.
AI processing
Fitpose’s AI features run on Google’s Gemini models, through Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. The app never talks to Google’s AI directly: each request goes from your iPhone to our server, which sends Google only what that request needs. Your name and email are never sent. Cutting a piece out of a photo happens on your iPhone with Apple’s on-device tools, and nothing leaves your phone for that.
What is sent, and for what
- Showing a look on you, on your Cover or in Explore: your full-body photo and the pictures of the pieces in the look.
- Adding clothes: the cut-out of each piece, so it can be named, sorted and tagged, and a photo your iPhone can’t cut out, so that piece can be redrawn on its own.
- Explore: a text list of your closet (each piece’s ID, category, color and styles, not the photos), the occasion you pick or the words you type, and your recent ratings of saved looks.
- Your stylist: your messages and the conversation so far, any photo you attach, the stylist you chose, your gender and styles, and the same text list of your closet.
What Google does with it
Google uses each request only to return the result to us and doesn’t use it to train its models. To detect abuse of its services, Google may keep requests for a limited time, at most 90 days, under its Google Cloud terms. The looks, cut-outs and redrawn pieces it returns are saved to your Fitpose account.
Your choice
Fitpose asks before your first AI request. You can turn AI processing off at any time in Settings, under Your data. Until you allow it again, nothing is sent to Google: cut-outs still work on your iPhone, and the AI features ask before they run.
Who processes it
We use these service providers to run Fitpose. Each one receives only what its job needs, and its own privacy policy explains how it handles data.
- Google Firebase
Sign-in, our database, photo storage, and the server code that connects the app to our AI providers.
Everything stored in your account: your sign-in record, profile, closet, looks, wear history, trips, stylist conversations and photos.
Privacy policy of Google Firebase- Google Cloud Vertex AI
The AI behind Fitpose: Google’s Gemini models render looks on your photo, file and redraw your clothes, build looks for Explore and write your stylist’s replies.
Only what each request needs, and only after you allow it. The details are under AI processing above.
Privacy policy of Google Cloud Vertex AI- RevenueCat
Free trials and subscriptions.
Your App Store purchase and subscription status, with an app user ID. Not your name or email.
Privacy policy of RevenueCat- PostHog
Product analytics, crash reports and session recordings.
Usage events, device details, your IP address, crash reports and masked screen recordings, linked to your account ID. Stored in the United States.
Privacy policy of PostHog- Apple
Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, and notifications on your iPhone.
Apple handles your Apple ID and payment details itself. We never see your card details.
Privacy policy of Apple- Open-Meteo
Weather forecasts for your Cover and your packing trips.
The city you entered in Settings or a trip destination. Your iPhone contacts Open-Meteo directly, so it also sees your IP address, but no account details.
Privacy policy of Open-Meteo- Google Shopping
Shopping searches, only when you tap a shopping idea from your stylist.
The search words for that piece, sent by your browser. We add no affiliate or tracking tags.
Privacy policy of Google Shopping
Push notifications. If Fitpose sends you push notifications, for example when a look is ready, your device’s push token is stored with your account and messages are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple’s push service. You can turn notifications off at any time in your iPhone’s Settings.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy keeps applying to your data.
How long we keep it and how to delete it
We keep your data for as long as you have a Fitpose account, or until you delete it. You can delete it at any time, whether or not you subscribe.
Delete your data
In Settings, under Data & Privacy, tap “Delete my data”. This permanently deletes your profile, closet, looks, wear history, trips, stylist conversations and saved device tokens from our database, then the photos stored in your account. It also clears the Home Screen widget and signs you out. It can’t be undone.
What “Delete my data” doesn’t remove
- Your sign-in record: your Apple account identifier and the name and email Apple shared.
- Our server’s records of past renders: their status, time and a link to the result.
- Analytics in PostHog, which is linked to your account ID, not your name.
- Purchase records that Apple and RevenueCat keep for billing, tax and legal reasons.
- Server logs, which can include your account ID, kept for a limited time for troubleshooting.
Email furkankar6@icloud.com and we’ll delete your sign-in record, your render records and your analytics data too, along with anything else that remains in your account. Deleting your data doesn’t cancel a subscription: cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.
Take your data with you
In Settings, under Data & Privacy, “Export my data” creates a file with your profile, closet, looks, wear history and trips that you can save or share. Photos are included as links, not files. Stylist conversations aren’t included yet; email furkankar6@icloud.com for a copy.
Your choices and rights
- Email us to correct anything we hold about you. Subscribers can also edit their profile in Settings.
- Turn off the calendar toggle in Settings to stop calendar reads. Your city is optional; without one, the Cover shows no weather.
- Manage camera, photos, calendar and notification access in your iPhone’s Settings.
- Export or delete your data as described in How long we keep it and how to delete it.
Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK and California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict some uses, and to withdraw your consent. Email furkankar6@icloud.com to use any of these rights; we won’t treat you differently for doing so. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms.
Security
Data travels between the app, our servers and our providers over encrypted connections. Our database and storage rules let only your signed-in account read your data, and our AI keys live on our servers, never in the app.
Photos and renders are stored behind long, unguessable links that we never publish. As with most cloud storage, anyone who has one of those links can open the image. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you about a breach that affects you, as the law requires.
Where your data is processed
Our providers are based mainly in the United States, so your data may be stored and processed there and in other countries whose data protection laws differ from yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as our providers’ standard contractual clauses.
Children
Fitpose isn’t directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law where you live if that is higher, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us personal data, email furkankar6@icloud.com and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when Fitpose changes how it handles data, and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll make it clear here before it takes effect and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
